Poker knight’s freeroll strategy
I’ve gotten some request that I should give you all some tips on how to create a little bankroll by starting with nothing. I’ve been researching on what poker client that fits best for freeroll. And after what I have experienced I would go for fulltilt poker, bet365, pkr and unibet, but of course some you got other opinions on what clients the best.
The most used freeroll games are the big tournaments, and in these tournaments it’s all about patient, concentration and a little bit of luck. The first thing I would advise you to do in these big tournaments is to wait for about 20-30 minutes, so everyone that will go all in if they got more than a pair is finished with their “game”. After this time players will slowly slip out of the tournament, so one thing I find very helpful is to have a notepad document on my desktop and write how the players handle their cards and chips.
When you got some solid notes on what the players are doing you can start playing your game. I like to play very aggressive when I feel that I can predict their moves. Of course I won’t rush my stack before the flop comes out since then all my notes would be wasted. In many situations my notes have saved me by telling me that my opinions got a big hand or is bluffing. Most often you will be moved around tables in these tournaments and this means that you will have to write A LOT of notes on new players all the time. I would advise noting players in all tournaments that you’re playing. And if you save all the players in a document you can search there names up and have their info for later.
So when you have made it through mid game by playing aggressive and building up a reasonable stack I always calm my bidding down. The longer the tournaments go, the more unpredictable the players get. So try to analyze your opinions even more before you start bidding high again. Most often when it’s less ten 10% of the players left it will go slow forward to the final table. But if you keep on analyzing, writing notes and being patient you will have a much big chance of winning.
Heres a link to full tilt client, my favourite!
Movie and poker
Just been watching The Pursuit of Happyness while I’ve been playing, and to be honest it’s a really good movie. And the lead roll Will Smith is one of the top acters I can think off!
And while I was watching the movie I came on 3rd place at 100 players tournament on pkr. Won 700£ so I’m pretty happy about that. Since I did the review on pkr’s freeroll system I’ve been trying it with my own money for 2 days now, and i really enjoy playing there!
Cheers!
Review on PKR
OK, the interresting thing about pkr is that it’s a 3D poker client. In my case it will be the first 3d poker client I will try, so this will be a new experience for me. Since this is my first review I’m going to try to show you the best method to get a small bankroll on freerolls.
So, the first thing i notice when I start the client is how easy it is to find the games that I’m looking for.
Before I made this review a friend told me that pkr had really good freeroll games for new beginners. So if you go to the Sit&Go Tournaments you will see 10 cent give away games. In these games the 2nd place get 0.4 cents and the 1st gets 0.06 cents. If you look at the big picture this is nothing, but if you compare pkr’s freeroll games with other clients, it will take you less time to get a little stack on pkr than any other poker clients I’ve tried. In almost every other poker client your only option is to play tournamets with thousands of players competing for a small stack.
So if you are a player that wan’t to learn poker step by step I would recommend using www.pkr.com. It’s easy to find the games your looking for, and it’s allways freerolls
available.
